    My post was only really concerning job balance in general, you mentioning it in your post just happened to remind me of the idea I had.

    It wasn't really a response concerning the particular issues you brought up about low level content in particular, was just a broad concept concerning job balance issues.

    About macro cancellation.
    Good evening,

    Regarding the macro cancel request we have received in the past, currently we are working on implementation and below 2 methods are being worked on:

    Be able to key bind a button for macro cancel feature (for both keyboard/gamepad)
    Once macro is activated use the same macro to cancel

    If you have any other concerns regarding macro canceling methods please let us know.
    DEX and Block Rates/MND and Mining:
    Good evening,

    DEX and Block proc rate
    If you increase the DEX it will also increase the Block proc rate.
    However as you're at higher level 1 stat difference will feel much less so instead of increase the status (DEX) you will feel more effect from equipment with Block proc rate+ stats.

    Miner and MND
    By increasing MND it is true that you can increase the amount of items you can obtain.
    However if you're at a cap/limit by increasing more wont increase the amount so you may feel that you're amount haven't increased even after increasing the MND. (since it's over the cap)

    Marking/Tagging Targets:
    Good evening,

    There are higher priority tasks for the current version so we have no plans for modifying marking feature.

    In 2.0 we will rebuild the marking feature from scratch,
    The details are not decided completely but

    combine marker and sign (I don't get what they mean by sign)

    Be able to add multiple markers in 1 character

    Get rid of being excluded where it can be used in leave/content only

    We will modify largely to improve the feature which is making it hard to use.

    Semi - raise, but for whatever reason I was always happy to do CS-missions in XI. I could follow the story and the story was much more compelling than XIV's has been this whole time. I finally finished the MQ the other day and was sorta starting to get interested but... that was it! There's nothing else coming I assume till 2.0. I realize the game took a shit but I'm just bored with the lack of CS action going on and the annoying accents that half the game's npcs have. I've never been more disappointed with a FF story than XIV's, of course I guess that isn't saying too much.

    Marking system would be so nice. Hunting grounds don't have nearly enough mob variety name so telling your group to attack the hippogryph or "the closest hippogryph" or "the hippogryph with the lowest hp" is kinda meh. Seems to me like this is something that could be hotfixed just removing the "if leve is active" code around the whole marking function. Old complaint but viable.

    It's probably not that simple until 2.0. Being in a leve's instance probably blankets all related enemies with say "Leve group xrandomx" flags, and then markings only work on enemies in "Leve group 42" for people in the group. No idea why ally flags work everywhere in that case though, their coding is so convoluted. New team still doesn't really understand original team's thought process imo; this is part of the reason for new spawn groups being numerous and packed, NPC vendors sharing the same lists/multiple lists, and other streamlined stuff they've been doing unrelated to "content."

    Basically old team was extremely instance-in-a-normal-area happy to a major fault.

    I think the reason why flags aren't usable outside of leves is that there's no other mechanism implemented to restrain/reset them.

    Outside of leves, there would be a lot of "potential" for flag chaos. Would a mob stay flagged indefinitely until it died? Can everyone see a flag, or just the people in that party? What if you add/drop members?

    Flags would and should only be visible for people in the same group...

    It's like you only played XI.

    Well, they're going to have to put some kind of restrictions on it, unless you like seeing random marks on random mobs outside town because people thought it would be funny to MARK ALL THE THINGS! Best I can think of is to allow everyone in an instance see them, if not in an instance, allow everyone in a mission to see them (leve, behest, what-have-you), and if not doing a mission, allow everyone in the party see them.

    In games where there is mob marking, the markings can usually only be made in a party, by the party leader and they are only visible to the party or alliance of that leader. When mobs die the marks disappear when the corpse does. But otherwise they work anytime you are in a party anywhere, open world or instance. It's not really a difficult thing to implement. Seems like they have all that functionality there, it's just limited to the leve system for some really strange reason..

    Marks usually consist of stuff like numbers from 1-9, skulls, hearts, spades, clubs, etc. Things that have sets, and you can call out targets in voice or party chat that much easier. Numbers are just so much better generally and it reduces a lot of communication needed.

    I thought they said that some of the achievements related to the apocalypse scenario would be missable, since they're not bringing them back for 2.0

    Ingame achievements (likely) won't be missable ever.
    Lodestone history "achievements" will be the missable stuff.
