I find it a pain zooming right out when using the goobbue because I have to zoom back in when I get off the thing. Chocobo removes that hassle. They should have just put the camera view at the top of the goobbue when on it. But maybe that's something they will fix.
They probably didn't lift the camera center because it may have made certain empty terrain areas visible that shouldn't be seen (like behind mountain formations where there's nothing).
Wait--there are people who don't always have the camera at max distance? Honestly, I wish it would let you zoom out further.
Didn't see this posted, but macro canceling coming 1.21 and recipes in 2.0 from Reinheart's translations:
Macro canceling:
Recipes in 2.0:Good evening everyone,
Thanks for feedbacks on the methods of canceling the macro
From every ones feedback, we will implement a feature in 1.21 to cancel your macro's by pressing the cancel button/escape key or planning a actual macro cancel key.
Both of the following is planned:
-Be able to cancel a macro while macro is still running by pressing the cancel button
-Be able to cancel a macro while macro is still running and also while having target on a sub target by pressing the cancel button.
If there is anything else please leave a feedback. thanks.
Good evening
In 2.0 you will be able to check for recipe's in-game.
We are planning exactly what you mentioned.Originally Posted by Niku-Q

Basic recipes will be on the recipe once you reach the level to craft them.
Also planning recipes where you can only obtain from leve or quests, for those once you obtain them it will be added to the list.
Yes, this is also the idea. Once you choose the item from recipe list it will automatically set the required items and you can start crafting from there.Originally Posted by Niku-Q
Would be nice if it's possible to choose the item from recipe it will automatically set the required items (also tells us which items are missing)
Up till this point will be what will be available at 2.0's launch and we will also look into features such as search feature in-game to look up recipes, and other upgrades from your feedbacks.
Recipes, awesome.
Macro cancelling.... please don't tie it to Escape. Escape does so many other things.
I'm a little worried with spell canceling being tied to the cancel/escape function. I usually hit cancel to drop my action bar during casting out of habit. Guess it's not that big of a deal, but will be hard to get over that habit.
Macro cancelling, not spell cancelling, but yeah, I use Escape for the same, and that's why I think using Escape for that is a bad idea.
Oh good, I'm glad you corrected me on that. Actually I think that may be worse than spell canceling. Hopefully they'll have a way to unbind it to the esc/cancel button :/
Recipe adjustments are pretty nice info. Maybe I can actually play the game in fullscreen if I come back![]()
There was an update on the server merge, upon the server merge if there are duplicate names, the character with priority will be the character who gets to keep the name. They haven't determined what the requirements are going to be for "priority" characters. They better let paying customers have priority though, or I will flip my shit.
I think thank one would be obvious.
I'm starting to wish I didn't pay for six months earlier in the month because when my CUL is 50 I won't be logging in again until merge day. I've been without a linkshell for a month now and it's no good joining one until after the merge because I want to be with EU players if possible. The process is taking too long.
Which is a better priority system in name conflicts, creation date or first-come-first-serve? The latter necessarily prioritizes current subscribers.
By first-come-first-serve, I mean when you log in after merge update and pick your new server, if there is a name conflict on that server and the other conflicted character hasn't logged in yet, congrats, you win. This could also be used to resolve retainer name conflicts.
Giving homefield advantage in name conflict resolution is incredibly unfair, IMO. It's bad enough to have your server shut down without also having stepchild name priority on the new server you wind up on.
