I'd be cautious about the job specific party buffs, reminds me of COR rolls a bit too much (WHO WANTS PET MACC!?).
MRD would be +ATK, LNC would be store TP, PGL would be....+Evasion

Accessory Reforms
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/31781
Patch 1.21 will see major reforms carried out on accessories.
Currently, the equipping of accessories is regulated by slot cost, and players cannot equip items in the location of their choice. In order to improve usability and achieve balance with the battle reforms commenced in patch 1.18, slot cost will be removed from the game and new accessories with revised attributes will be added.
Once slot cost is phased out, players will be able to freely equip accessories, given that other equipping requirements are fulfilled. In order to preserve balance with the recently commenced battle reforms, however, the number of accessory slots will be reduced from nine to five.
Recipes and attributes for "dated" accessories will remain unchanged. Similar to the Recipe Revamp, old and new recipes will coexist for a time, with the former to be phased out at some time in the future.
New Items & Recipes
New items and recipes will be added, and their attributes and optimal equipping/synthesis levels will be implemented as follows:
Attribute Revisions
The new accessories being planned will not necessarily offer enhanced Physical Defense; however, among them will be those that grant benefits such as increased Enmity, Control, and Gathering.

New Slot Structure
Accessory slots will be consolidated as follows:
Right Ear + Left Ear = Ear
(With the exception of the moonlet, an equipped pair of earrings will appear on both ears.)
Neck = Unchanged
Right Wrist + Left Wrist = Wrist
(With the exception of the patriot's bracelet, an equipped pair of bracelets will appear on both wrists.)
Right Index Finger + Right Ring Finger = Right Hand Finger
Left Index Finger + Left Ring Finger = Left Hand Finger
(Rings will be worn on the index finger in patch 1.21. In the future, however, rings for the ring finger will also be added.)
I like it. No need for so many slots if we couldnt use them all.
Sounds good. The only thing I'm a little confused on is will Patriot's bracelet allow you to equip two wrist pieces, or it only appears physically on one wrist?
Sounds like it physically only appears as 1 wristlet. I like the changes, I had a feeling they would change it to something like this.
Wished they would have showed what the stat rings are turning into, but oh well. The fact that they're adding crafting and gathering accessories has me the most excited.
I was afraid we were going to have to carry around 9 accessories, this is much preferred.
Really wish they'd stop with the dated gear tho.
Meteor's impact will be so strong that all dated gear is incinerated. Just dated gear though.
Because of magic.
I am all for these changes, but I just don't understand why they had to make an exception for Patriot's Bracelet at all. Just slap the model on both wrists and put an "s" at the end of the name. Moonlet perhaps but the same could have been done there as well.
Laziness. Or asymmetry is patriotic.
Downside: "Slower" spiritbonding on accessories (read: mythril wristlets x2) but ehh.
Not sure what you mean about slower spiritbonding, the difference is only graphical.
Ah, misunderstood.
