Seems like job quests are going to be based out of their class' corresponding guild. I was hoping they would loosen up a bit with that. Not sure how they'll make Dragoons relevant to the Black Shroud or how they'll keep Monks tied to a casino.

I hadn't noticed that, but it certainly looks to be the case

I hope it's nothing more than "In a dark shady corner of the [guild] you see a curious looking fellow. He/she appears to be a well seasoned [class], but there's something... different about them.", and then it stops revolving around the guild.

Bard's "Blunt Shot" effect looked the coolest, I think. Obviously, Monk's "Dragon Kick" wins for animation.

What Mioko said. But DRG still kicks ass.

Edit: I wonder if SE took into consideration the amount of time the DRG was in the air so that they could avoid some AOE damage? Wishful thinking amirite? Also the mob turns around (loses agro) while the DRG is in the air..

Edit2: BLM casting looks like NIN taru animation. lol

It sounds kinda' odd, but doesn't that Paladin's "Spirits Within" sound like it has a dynamic music/sounds thing going on like Wind Waker?

All looks good. I'm not sure why they didn't throw this out last week just to sate people's desire for something instead of saving it for the same week they're doing the letter. I also like how Freeze is almost identical to the Freeze II animation from XI.
