Some nice stuff there (despite the constant playing of the music with dragon roaring between each song). Liking the classic fanfare they've added in amongst other things (it's been a while, i think the game had one version of it previously for leves and that didnt it?).

It sounds like a number of those songs have the same tune to them, possibly more of that dynamic dungeon music. (Or a new XIV theme?)

The epic songs sound pretty damn rad. They have that sad struggle feel. Love it.

Do we know of anything regarding increased # of macros?

It's more than a bit ridiculous that we actually have less macro space than XI did at launch, even more so when they had long since realized this flaw in XI and increased macro space by 20x.

Also, I'm not sure why people give a shit about how many macro slots we have when they work as poorly as they currently do. Absolutely no reason for macros to be about 10 times slower than FFXI macros.

That just sort of echoes my sentiment that they've gone backwards.

There are 5 macro palettes for......7 jobs. Nvm the 1 palette that's going to be taken up by DoL/H stuff.

Personally I only use macros for gear/class changes. Action bar is pretty much a macro bar unto itself (keyboard-only style).

Yeah, I find very little reason to bother making macros for anything outside of class-changing or gear-set switches.

I think the only other macros I've even seen people use are saying "Bind OK" or "Bind Miss" during the Moogle fight. I'd rather just type that though~

You and EVERYONE else. Those macros are still incredibly slow considering how you blinked in XI and had all your gear swapped right after hitting the macro.

When I press a macro I want my gear swapped in 1 second. Any longer and that shit needs work.

Macros having an auto /wait between lines and more or less locking you into your set of actions is what turns me off. Too long of a list (3x buff+WS for example) and I'm on uncontrollable autopilot, too short and I'd rather do it manually.

I laugh at anyone using macros in this game outside class gear swaps. Especially for those (like myself) that are using a gamepad.
