Players will be able to request others to meld materia on their behalf in the same manner as seeking repairs. Upon selecting either a piece of gear or materia in the inventory interface, you will be presented with the “Materia Request“ option. Making the request incurs a fee commensurate with the required level of the item to which materia will be melded, payable in gil to the player who accepts the request.

* In addition to the abovementioned fee, players must also provide a suitable catalyst.
* This method allows only the melding of the first piece of materia to any given item.

I'm actually not that interested in Evenflow. Seems to me every DD doesn't have much TP problems anyways. Now Savage Aim and Sanguinary Might? That's something to get ready to meld for. :3 Also the enmity changes are nice.

The numbers are going to have to be huge on those two materias for it to matter, and I don't think they're going to be. That being said, I'd love to be wrong.

Also, fuck yeah to enmity boost on Touch of Rage... Now it doesn't seem like such a waste on my Sentinel Plate Belt. Gonna try to double meld it with HP soon.

I wish they would allow 1 meld on RARE/EX gear. That would be so boss.

Decided to nix the adjustments to Totems, but Kupo Nuts are getting decreased to 10.

OMG this response is so fail... I was so happy about the previous announcment and now this... 3 weapons so far and all 3 being Ifrit Cane for me... how the hell they going to explain that bull crap...

The drop rate is absolutely abysmal and whats an even bigger kick to the nuts is that you can get weapons for jobs you don't even play or have leveled. -_-;

Wouldn't even go that far, just let the reality seep into them when 2.0 comes and people are still laughing at FFXIV and not having "that sub epiphany" SE is expecting due to terrible drop rates, masochistic content and a plethora of other problems they will create going forward. The OF is what is going to sap all the potential out of this game, all good changes will be met with staunch crying which is a damn shame because 2.0 sounded pretty good from the 2.0 PDF.

That's retarded.... I'm at 30-40 Ifrits and only 3 totems that dropped to me, 0 weapons.
There were people walking away with 2 weapons+ totems in the last 10 I've done and they were doing it for the first time. I was actually going to save the totems for 1.22 but at this rate I probably won't even get 5 before the end of the month and they're not dropping the cost... wtf indeed.
