Kind of funny, let my FFXIV account expire. Lost ability to post in Official Forums lol

A funny thing happened the other day in which most of my LS mates who subscribed for 3 months all DC'd pretty much simultaneously in the middle of a raid. We were all bewildered when it happened but when we realized the cause we had a good laugh.

Still, a warning will be nice. But I'm guessing it won't happen till 2.0.

It's nice and all, but why no /l# command so I can talk to another LS without equipping another?

I'm sure SE had no other reason than "lets not do it the way that makes sense", but I saw one guy point out that with this way you can hit a key to switch to L1 and then you don't need to type /l1 every line. So if you're talking a lot that would be good, but I imagine most players already type /l instead of setting the chatmode, and most will probably be talking in multiple simultaneously so the flexability of /l# would outweigh the savings of keyed shells.

Agreed. I wasn't doing much in game, logged off in my mh lol.

but still, more warning would definitely be nice. And also a fix in grammar...

Probably has something to do with the fact that you need a shell equipped to access that shell's chat. Doing /ls2 blahblahblah while wearing a different shell isn't possible. At least, not in 1.0.

At this point, nothing would surprise me on what the current PoS engine can't do.

I think if you had a level 50 account but quit FFXIV you should still be allowed to post on official forums even unsubbed. I can understand not letting level 1's and shit but with a 50 you've at least got to the cap and know what the game is about.

Yeah I get spammed 2-3 emails about them doing stuff with billing.

I check my mail frequently and definitely did not receive an email saying my subscription was going to expire, perhaps it went straight to spam but I wouldn't be surprised if they just suck. Fortunately I was just trying to login to the forums, but it was a hassle to figure out how to pay by credit card.

Also, apparently the SE store has been switched to only accept click-and-buy? I have ordered stuff from there before without having to deal with that. Ended up ordering what I wanted through amazon.

I haven't listened yet; is it better than Corethas' battle theme? That's my favorite in-game song atm.
