Was in rome, found the pizzas there to be meh. I mean they were great, but so is most of the pizzas in Sweden. They didn't stand out for me.

I was expecting there to be a big conversation regarding the item binding on here. That's a pretty big change to the game and way the economy works. Assuming that all crafted items become bound once they receive a point of SB we are going to be forced to convert all crafted items to materia pretty much.

I see where they said that there will be BoS (BoE) gear, and I see where they said that BoS gear will... BoS, but I don't see where they said that all gear will be either EX or BoS.

As I read it, it's just creating a third class of gear: freely tradeable, BoS, and EX.

I think what he's trying to say is that BoS items can be freely traded, only that it can't be after it's got a SB point on it.

Not quite sure why anyone would ever make the assumption that all crafted items will bind on Spiritbond.

It would make sense to me. Perhaps that's the confusion. SE... making sense... you know.

From the alpha it looked like all items were bound if you get any SB on them... I didn't do extensive testing for every item I could find, but until I see proof of an item that can still be traded after getting a point of SB I will assume that's how it is for everything. And to me, that's what it sounds like SE was trying to say in their forum post, but they didn't explicitly confirm it so we'll just have to see when beta rolls around in a couple weeks.

not really any updates but there are more pictures on the jp official forums at the 'meeting' in the LA offices. there were also in-and-out burger pics that probably will bring this thread back to talking about food again, lol.

i assume the new letter will be soon though.
