At least you can get to the blog, it won't even load for me. Are there any larger pics available? Those just seem to be thumbnails.

well, you should know by now, game-related screenshots seems restricted/limited. Marketing strategy or SE is just that retard

Yoshi did post on the jp forums. If google translate is reliable enough, what i got from it was letter should be up jp evening time friday. Its already friday like 11am so soon maybe?

I can't make out the kanji in that image with the taru on the chocobo but the katakana says シラディハ but that doesn't bring anything from 1.0 to mind...

..which was once the rival city city to Ul'dah around Thanalan, or something. ruins now obviously

Checked his post quickly. Says he'll post the next letter on the "evening" of the 15th (JP time). As I'm writing this it's 1:30 PM (JP time), so we can expect one in... sometime in the next 10 and a half hours. =P

Wasn't the city of Sil'dah where the race that originially locked up bahamut lived? weren't some of those peoples ruins where nael van darnus discovered the whole dahlmund thing?

Was just another trade city that existed fairly recently, but ended up having a war with Ul'dah over water or something. Sil'dih started raising the dead to fight for them, backfired and all the living and dead got sealed in together, guess it's just a bunch of zombies breaking out post-Bahamut destruction.
