My machine struggled a little bit, so I upgraded my graphics card, and the new monitor should sharpen a lot of the graphics.

They announced that there would be 2 benchmarks, the first is the more standard benchmark they have been showing screenshots of. The second benchmark is going to be to allow people to do character customization before launch.

Q: Are there plans to release a benchmark? If so, when?
A: We are planning to have two. The first one will be for Beta to see how well your PC can run it, and the second one will be right before launch and it will include character creation with all races.

Fan translation:

Q17: When will the PC benchmark be released?
A17: We’re planning to release the first one around the time of the Beta Test. The first one will be to check your system in order to play the Beta and the other benchmark will be released around the timing of the launch of ARR. We are planning to have character creation in the second benchmark.
