Then I crafters charge out the ass if someone asks for a repair, assuming there's something CRP can fix that's worthwihle...
Either way, assuming the gem/slot system they're planning on adding keeps crafting useful/alive, Yoshida said that they will remove gear durability.
Was done, and it works just fine.
LoTRO let you do any dungeons, and the currencies can be used to buy decent gears once you hit max level. You can also spend it on lesser gears while leveling
WoW allow you to farm point 10 level before the cap, and you can grab 1 or 2 pieces with that.
Imo, something like LoTRO would work perfectly here. Dungeon that scale with your level, give useful currencies for gears, drop normal loot, and they are generally fun.

Here it is finally quit the whining about where it is, start the bitching about it though =D
Terrible, I'm never going back.
Spoiler: show
I'm happy with what we got, I expected less information. I was hopping to get some more specifics on the combat system changes, I'm sure they are coming at some point
I'm all for the jobs branching off the classes as well. I wanna know what classes = which jobs so I'd be able to start lvling them if I wanna play a job that isn't branched off MRD.
Particularly interested by the changes to actions via class. I never liked the fact that, as a CNJ (for example), you could never actually equip all your CNJ abilities. It looks like they plan on making classes considerably more unique but still allowing a few abilities to be cross class. This will, I believe, cut down dramatically on the customisation aspects of the armoury system, but I'm fine with that if it means we actually get fun, definable character archetypes. I know, however, that many people will not be okay with this. Hopefully the addition of the Job System will help in this regards. I know that personally I like to focus my play on a particular style and having a Job to aim for will help inspire me in this way.
Seems that foxclon posted some additional details concerning AA today, hopefully it gets translated before weekend.
Hmm, asked a friend and he says that there's no new info in any posts he made today.
Hmm, idk then. He did talk about AA quite extensively so I figured it wasn't just a rehash of Matsui's statements. He also talked about test server and why it:s not currently a feasible option. They're buried under the devtag pile by now though.
Google translated foxclon post confirming level-sync to happen in the future.
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...l=1#post146848Hello.
Concept of level sync, Yoshida, Matsui has been confirmed.
Will continue the renovation will FFXIV a basic concept, instead of going to inflated greatly courses on level level cap (level 50 it currently) and then reached, we will expand the content end there , that is planned. Not be neglected that part of the band levels up to level 50, when it comes to certain means to continue spending more on a weight-end content development.
Therefore, at this time to introduce a level sync is not specifically intended to undertake the renovation project has been first battle, we will make changes on the party and solo play there.
And does not care what I even need to be, however, may not be in the form of level sync on some level on measures to support, I would like to consider depending on the situation while advancing the implementation of the above Masu.
So ...... situation and continue to delve into the sink-related forums in level at the moment, it may still a bit earlier than expected. But even if you gain from silence is not so hard to live, please point out where the future feel free.
In case you're still wondering...
Depending on the outcome of the battle system overhauls, we might get a release date for the re-release on the PS3.Originally Posted by Bayohne

That is assuming they execute flawlessly. This is SE we're talking about...
This is going to be interesting to watch.

Going to be interesting to see how they pull this off. How do you bleed out the people that have millions but don't screw over new players?
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...l=1#post150196Fret not, as the dev. team is well aware of the large, gil-laden purses of the populace. The team knows about the abundance of coinage that fills the markets, and also about the storages filled to the brim with currency! The team knows that inflation is a serious issue if left unchecked and you can bet that they have plans in place to address this in the future.
I suppose group-oriented items/events/buildings can do that... it'll draw from the resources of those that have it, while still benefiting newer players within that same group. Of course a LS of all new players face a steeper climb, but I don't see it as a huge travesty that someone who waits a year longer to play than us is a few steps behind. Basically like Dynamis... the group as a whole funds it, but everyone participates/benefits.
Would help if they actually gave a shit about what people do on their servers. We have the same bots sitting in the same place for months grinding out crystals and such. I think the gil sellers must love SE. Their setting the game up for major inflation and the gil sellers will be ready with billions of gil all courtesy of SE to sell to new players coming into the ruined economy. I doubt SE can put in enough gil sinks to fix this anytime soon as long as they don't police their realms.
Maybe they'll do a SE and wipe the servers for PS3 launch even if they've said they wont?
