So yeah, new beta invites for phase 2 went out today. apparently you have to register those as well.

I wasn't a phase 1 tester, but I can confirm I got my invite this morning. However I admit to brushing it off at first considering not only is it April 1st, but as of just recently I now have class most of the day every Saturday/Sunday for awhile and won't really be able to participate in the testing, leading me to believe it had to be some kind of joke at my expense.

I assume he meant that Phase I participants needed a separate code to participate in Phase II, but neither I nor the missus received a secondary code, and that seems a particularly backwards (and thus Square-appropriate I suppose) way to do it, so I hereby order a bowl of salt to go with that post.

Yes, As far as I know if you got in phase 1 you were in for good.

Same situation here. Don't think that code applies to people already in the beta.

I think what he meant is that you have to enter a code as opposed to SE approving your account (how they handled Alpha).

Yeah I entered and registered a code for phase 1 but I got another today.

Also I'm not AFD pranking or anything like that.

edit: oh weird now I have two FFXIV accounts registered for beta lol. definitely seems to be an error at this point. Disregard.

I also got a 2nd beta invite this morning haven't checked my SE account yet to see if it added a second account tho, will check at lunch.

Edit: Yep now I have a second FFXIV account that only has the ARR beta as a service option... I foresee some issues arising because of this.

i got my e-mail this morning too. i thought it might have been one i registered to my gfs e-mail, but it was actually sent to the e-mail that was already accepted.
