    Yea kinda confused myself. Are they going by SP? Well anyone that has a 50 is pretty boned as you're usually just doing NMs or faction leves and not much SP to be had there. The upcoming dungeon might help but who knows how often you'll be allowed in. Is it time based? I don't run around on my 50 much as if I'm sitting around town I'm crafting so I'm pretty screwed there too. Will I have to craft in gear that I want 'attachment points' in?

    Where is this damn update. It's the day after!

    Probably gonna be like magian system in FFXI kill 1000 mobs with gear piece on and you get an option to crystallize it into materia then you have a chance to get a hq or nq materia from it. Like disenchanting in WoW.

    Well, there's a dev post on guildleves. There'll be an SP bonus added to the reward at the end.

    What I hope for is that said bonus will increase based on your performance. It's a start to making the system into what it should be, but I don't expect anything major before at least the combat and class stuff is dealt with.

    In the ideal situation imo the system would be made in the way Nyzul Isle is, with each leve being randomized, having varied objectives and encouraging good performance through added rewards at the end. Also if they could make it last the full 30mins like Nyzul, even better. Did I mention the ladder type structure?

    Repetition and lack of variety is the problem, I figure this would solve both (while making them able to expand the whole system through implementing more objectives and mob/boss types as opposed to simply adding more leves on top of the existing ones).

    And get rid of the lore as well, there's no need for it. Implement random small interactive events into the system or something instead.

    Theres lore tied to leves?! I would've never known. O_O

    SP Bonus at the end huh... They might be setting themselves up to lower the in-leve SP gains per kill and have that bonus at the end offset the loss. I find it hard to believe that they're going to give us more bonus SP on top of what I already get from the same 6 leves I do.

    Higher level leves need it imo, the lower ones really don't. Getting lvl 6+ in your 1st leve is absurd to me.

    Aside from a blueprint and a lengthy Q&A, as well as a roadmap for the Summer (and another post regarding the combat with a video included coming up)... but those don't count, because hurdurderp.

    Not that I think getting excited is what needs to happen pre-patch.

    I just think they should be giving actual previews leading up to the change. Not just talk about what they want to do, should be showing some actual gameplay

    Make it so that you can perform in the first place, adding this sort of content in the current game would be retarded.

    I don't want my performance to be judged on my unlucky miss streak, or the monster's WS selection.

    To be fair, pre-10 exp is insane. Playing around on THM last night before bed, took me literally 5 minutes to get to level 5 just by killing random rats and bugs.

    Yes I agree its entirely waaaaay too fast. SP gains at those levels need to be halved at the very least.

    I'm not going to enjoy lv1-10 more if the xp is slower. For all I care, I would rather get this xp rate until level 50 to complete the story and quit.

    I see that view but I think the exact opposite. I think the first few levels in any game should be about seeing the game world, looking at the UI, the settings, the buttons, the controls, the low level spells/abilities and mechanics. Because of that, the first 10ish levels should be able to be completed by a 5 year old. Make the intro to the game appealing so by the time you are level 10, you've gotten a decent grasp on the very basic things and you can start to advance on to steeper curves.

    Keep in mind E3 is next week and they very may well be announcing the PS3 version release date along with new videos/changes.

    I also felt that the bonus exp from 1-24 was way big. I'd kill to have that rate again, but pulling 200-250k SP/night on leves ain't bad either.

    If they do add bonus SP for finishng the leves, unless it is signicant (like 3000 for r30s, 4000 for r40s or more), then it won't solve the problem of leve failing. I'd like to see them rework the leve system to make leves from a certain aetheryte prerequisites for others. Like you get the starting three and each unlocks like tier II leves which are the good ones, or even add a third tier, kinda like how FLs work. In addition they need to let us pick any of our unlocked leves every reset instead of issuing a random three and leaving it completely up to chance to have leve-links.

    I'd be quite content with that even if it took a reset or three to unlock the big 7 leves we all know and love/hate so well

    The only leves that need SP boost are gathering leves imo. Well gathering in general needs a SP boost.
