They said they were going to be overhauling the UI for phase 3. This is probably some of those elements.

Okay okay. I stand corrected. Sorry for the mistake in my last post. lol
Phase 3 can't start fast enough.
Oh, also didn't notice it before, but there's "(Dummy)Contents finder" above the quest tracker. Apparently also no clipping, higher resolution of the UI? And separate icons for each emote.
Lot of shit going on in those THM skill icons... Also, once Uldah, always Uldah. /legacy
Looking at the border around HP/MP/TP I thought maybe at first it was an extra indicator for how % Full you were but on the screenshots where MP and TP are partially empty the bars are filled beyond the usual % bar. My guess is its a timer for when HP/MP/TP regenerate automatically during combat/out of combat.
he could've used sprint
Oh yeah, didn't even think about that. derp

The THM could've teleported to Ul'dah with 0 TP/MP and it regenerated to the amount shown in the pic.It seems like they are changing how TP and MP regen since in the above picture he is in town and doesn't have full MP or TP
Maybe people have already noticed this...
Nald's Gate is directly accessible. No silly hallway to keep the draw distance down.
Yeah, I think they mentioned this some time back.
Not entirely sure why the fk it wasn't open to begin with from retail 1.0... Maybe some lore shit I didn't care to know about. Actually, out all 3 city states, Uldah will be the only one without a zone line with long entry hallway. (Assuming the bridge in Limsa still stands)
If I remember things correctly, didn't (some of) Ul'dah's gates open and close depending on what the in-game time it was? In the very beginning of 1.0, that is.
If I had to guess, I'd say they didn't want to (or couldn't) draw the inside of Ul'dah from halfway out into the desert. Easy way to do that? Close the giant door. Now that things are separate zones, they can do whatever the heck they want much easier.
Notice how every soft-zone change in 1.0 was a choke point. Halfway from Bearded Rock to Skull Valley? Slim rocky choke point. Dragonhead to Glory? Skinny bridge. Entrace to Limsa + Grid? Long-ass bridges. Which by the way, Grid no longer has in the beta, thankfully. (Blue Badger Gate technically has a stretch of land, but the bridges themselves are gone)
Long week. Glad to be home. -.- Weekend FTW.
As is my habit, I checked the Beta OF upon arriving home to start the weekend.
(o.O ) ...at this time, there are no flame wars, trollbaiting, or snippy criticisms.
I'm a bit nervous. >_> It's like when a tornado is about to touch down and suddenly everything is really quiet...
