So happy about all the hair colours. Could never make my fringe red enough in phase 2.

Not happy about the live letter being on the 30th though if that means the release date announcement too. Mainly because it's bad timing for me. I'm on holiday that week and don't want to be faffing around updating my website with info then.

Yay sliders! The hair color choices are great too, and all of the styles. I'll probably keep my main mostly as she is aside from using the slider to give her a perfectly sized rack, but it'll be fun to play with all the new options for the tons of mule slots Legacy gives. As questioning as the large group raid-based endgame makes me, I really can't say a bad thing about the aesthetics and presentation of the game. They're definitely doing a great job at creating an interesting, eye-catching world and characters.

And that's a Roe, look at the nose and skin tone, it's a dead giveaway. Even barring those, you can clearly see it's girlka RSE. >_>

Hopefully the Character Creation benchmark will be released soon. Dont want to spend too much time on release giving my lalafell a gender change.

Is it just me or does that slider next to the hairstyles mean there could possibly be 36-48 (rough estimate) different hairstyles?

Well not really it depends on how far down the bar goes for each scroll of the 3.4 grid. All depends on how the scaling on the UI is implemented really. Usually the smaller the bar means more content is available allowing for more scrolling, but that's not always the case. I would love it to be that much though.

This character creator looks really good coming out of SE though. And should definitely serve the purpose of a great first impression going into the game, which is what ARR desperately needs with the masses.

Yup, I have been reading alot of positive things everywhere I look. I hope it gets better into phase 3.

Even if so... its probably not as meaningful as you think.
I'm pretty sure I see a female hairstyle there so maybe everyone just gets all of the total possible hairstyles.

There better be long hair styles for males to like the types you'd see in anime. I'll be damned if my character can't be prettier than a female.

When I say female, I mean a hairstyle that til now has only been available to females. Its not a new hairstyle.
It has been used by midlander females since launch and in ARR they added to Miqo'tes.

Appears that midlander males at the very least get it now too. The point I was making is that I bet a lot of the hairstyles there aren't even new and everyone just gets everyone else's options (and probably ones no one will ever use... like that one)
