There's a few layers here...

Square Enix Account
|-> FFXIV Service Account 1 (PC Registration Code)
|----> FFXIV Service Account 1 Characters
|-> FFXIV Service Account 2 (PS3 Registration Code)
|----> FFXIV Service Account 2 Characters

The requirement to purchase a PS3 version if you want to play your 1.0 characters on a PS3 is only to get you the software. At that point you can play use any characters on Service Account 1 either on the PC or PS3, but not at the same time. You could throw the registration code away, give it to someone else, or register another service account to your Square Enix account. Service Account 2 characters would also be able to play on the PC or PS3, again on both systems at the same time. You can however play a character from Service Account 1 on one system and a character from Service Account 2 on another system concurrently.

Amazon has pre orders up but holding off atm cause they seem to be incomplete. They only have PS3 standard, PC standard physical, and PC CE digital. They list the in game CE bonuses and the PS3 lists the pre order bonus but the PC version makes no mention of getting the pre order bonuses.

I would immidietely like to know if the ingame items are coming from the CE as a separate code, and not tied to the CE code itself.

Actually you will need to link the ps3 version to your service account in order to use ps3 version, its a bit more than just having the software.

You're not a SuperFan/LoreMaster unless you pre-order an ARR CE for all of that sweet physical swag. Not sure whether or not the PS3 pre-order code can be tagged on my Legacy service account though...

You're confusing CE bonuses and pre-order bonuses.

Pre-order (any edition): Early access, Cait Sith minion, Moogle Cap
Collector's Edition (1.0 or ARR): Helm of Light, Baby Behemoth minion, behemoth chocobo barding, Courl Mount

what WS is that at this point in the video? I notice the Drg and Pld went at the same time, but there was this blue aoe effect. I really hope thats a combo type deal

I don't think we saw that one before. The blue aoe effect seems to be centered around PLD so I think that's just his ws. I don't think it's any type of combo or limit break (saw your question on forums). The blue effect happens when the DRG is just starting to jump so there's no synergy between the animations.

We don't know (at least I don't recall it). You gotta remember that we don't know all of the WSs and their animations yet lol.
