It's probably related to why and how Bahamut vanished from the skies immediately after the calamity (and most likely imprisoned in his labyrinth).

I still wish they would port models over from something that's not FFXI. XII would be a solid source considering the art direction we've gone in.

When I first heard the voice over (who is apparently the new voice of Gaius) I honestly thought it was a joke.

It sounds like they just had the guy cup his hands around his mouth and said "close enough". He went from XIVader to sounding like a guy with a bucket on his head.

Monk limit break is Final Heaven from VII/Dissidia

The monk does the same charge-up with her fist that Tifa does, followed by a vertical beam of light on the mob. The beam is more yellow than white in VII/Dissidia, and it lasts for a shorter amount of time in VII, but I really don't see it being anything else. It's just too close.

EDIT: 99% sure the WHM limit break comes from an older FF too but I can't put my finger on it yet
