Again, if you're only planning on playing in statics with your LS, more power to you. I don't particularly look forward to having to explain to every Content Finder group (potentially in multiple languages), "hey, can you not use our Limit Break because it's needed for strategy x or because it's a useful failsafe?" Instead, this will be something that needs to be explicitly spelled out any time you're partied with someone new.

This is not exclusive to LBs, which is what I was getting at. If you're against group LBs, that's fine. However, if you're against LBs because it means you have to explain to people when to use them, then just stop, please. This can be applied to everything that involves parties.

I mean I don't particularly look forward to having to tell every Content Finder group how the Ifrit encounter works, so Ifrit should be easy enough to be done without any kind of knowledge or discussion. That's where your argument gets us.

Plus your suggestion does not actually change anything. Even if LBs were individual, you would still have to tell people when to use them. Or are you now the one presuming content would suddenly not be designed around individual LBs? Your PLD uses Shield Wall randomly, because nobody bothered to tell him that we need it for Hellfire? Wipe, sorry.
