This is not exclusive to LBs, which is what I was getting at. If you're against group LBs, that's fine. However, if you're against LBs because it means you have to explain to people when to use them, then just stop, please. This can be applied to everything that involves parties.

It's not even that you have to explain when to use them; it's that you are enabling players to consume a shared resource. I don't look forward to pickup parties where there is an eternal battle of Who Can Use The Limit Break First? (And yes, this does apply to pickup parties for content that doesn't necessarily even require Limit Breaks to win.)

I mean I don't particularly look forward to having to tell every Content Finder group how the Ifrit encounter works, so Ifrit should be easy enough to be done without any kind of knowledge or discussion. That's where your argument gets us.

Not even close to the same thing. You can learn how to beat Ifrit, but you can't really learn who gets to use the LBs (because there isn't always a right/wrong answer to that).

Plus your suggestion does not actually change anything. Even if LBs were individual, you would still have to tell people when to use them.

Again, not necessarily. You would only need to tell someone to hold their LB if their LB is the one that's needed (or if you somehow needed a max-power full party LB). This frees you from having to play Mom and tell every person in every party not to use their LB. For example, in 1.0: you don't tell the BRD not to use Battle Voice unless you actually need him to save Battle Voice for a specific part. Same goes for any other job... use your abilities as you see fit.

But when these abilities are on a shared timer, it only serves to cause drama. Even if it was something as simple as MNK and DRG having to decide who gets to use Dragonfire or 100Fists in a pickup raid... it's just unnecessary problems.

Yeah, that's not accurate hahaha. Mine currently says 30MB/s but my network monitor says 5 MB/s.

I think when it's actually installing a patch file rather than downloading it, it screws up the downloader and makes it think you're getting ultimate megazord speed.

now now, you know I can't be posting FFXIV phase 3 .DAT mined stuff here as it probably, maybe? goes against the NDA (although technically it would just be pics, not video) would need a mod/admin concensus on if that stuffs allowed to be posted here, but I do know where it can be posted however...~ (can't wait for someone to get the music though and mp3 it...!)

anyway, someone (on another site) already posted how to easily convert FFXIV music to mp3 (just finding the actual .dat's that is the music is the hard part)
