Well no, see the reason this is happening and why I'm CURIOUS, is because you downloaded the client regardless of SE informing you to download it. There's a reason for that (your account isn't flagged yet). You guys come in here, flying off your handles because it's asking for a code like double-u tee, ef.

I asked for the screenshot only because for us current testers, it just skips past that after we click next, so I was curious to see if there was actually a window for it, and you were simply reading the code request that it asks you for on the front page.

Also, the Undefined Error: Reload the damn client after download and it fixes it. Gd. Took me all of 2 seconds to figure that out last night.

I really tried hard to make it seem like I wasnt flying off the handle (because I wasnt). I even mentioned that I was just curious if anyone else got the email. Im aware I wasnt doing it by the book. Im not a typical internet tard. No hard feelings

And yeah I guess it doesnt skip it if your account isnt flagged.

Yeah the timing is terrible for EU. Starts as we head out to work and ends when we wake up on Sunday morning. But I guess it had to be terrible for some timezone and EU usually gets the shaft due to being the smallest region. Just like how every 1.0 maintenance was during EU prime time. I hope they change that shit with the regional data centers, they don't have to release a patch the same time on all servers.

Technically not a loophole, because technically it "is a video, in a video format, posted on a video only website". If you want to lose your account over it (as the SE people look over these threads) be my guest. I can ask the mods on it, but I'm sure they will agree a "youtube video, is a youtube video) even if its a slideshow... "video" >.>

You can make gif's very easily however (like I can record a scene, and convert it to gif within seconds), that would be your only loophole technically >.> As it is a image "format". (although a 6m in gif at 640x480 will be around 20-30MB at good quality)

For that matter 00000.dat movie file appears to be the "legacy players" intro movie

Someone has already extracted and released the full phase 3 soundtrack in ogg format, must say the music this time around is pretty epic.

I can't post anything myself, even if I could, I am following the NDA even on my own site Although, I kinda don't mind starting over. a less messed up economy would be nice. It would kind of suck competing against people with like a few hundred thousand/billion gil still even after the nerf with some people having mules of 99999999999 gil from 1.0 where as the gil nerf won't affect them much anyway.

You'll have to wait for "that other guy" to post .DAT model pics whenever he gets a chance, as I'm sure the .dat's have stuff (as usual) thats not in game like phase 2 did.

ahaha lol I havent done beta tests in a long time since they use to suck and I hate starting over for release but since I really have nothing else to do or play Ive been so hype for FFXIV I was like screw it. But yeah maybe I wont call in but least when I get home I can play. Ill prolly try to get in some before work to @.@ one more day. And Im hoping tomorrow is information overload because besides from a sweet gameplay trailer they havent answered many questions or given much information considering I felt like they didnt give much info in the past few months because E3 was suppose to be info time.

If you are returning to use your 1.0 character, your old character is forced to be on the beta server associated with whatever server your 1.0 character was on.

No, it's 5AM EDT/2AM PDT.

I'd be careful with those too. It's still a video even if it's not in a proper video format. SE may overlook that kind of thing but I think it's just not worth taking the risk.

Haven't received a code, but not sure I need to? I was in Alpha and Beta, and as I recall, I needed a code to get into Alpha and a different code to get into Beta Phase 1, but I didn't need another code for Phase 2.

I just updated my existing beta client, punched in my login info, and it took me to the NDA/whatever screens. I accepted and I got to a greyed-out Play button.
