Kind of disappointed by the fairy aspect with Scholar, was pretty much my favourite class back in XI and I was hoping they'd focus it on the HoT healing role for this version and keep stratagems going... but dat fairy...

Will wait to see how it plays I guess, but probably wiill end up just using WHM for my healing role :<

Materia system post

Was just going to post this, some interesting stuff. Materia has been simplified from 1.0 and with very little risk when melding. Also to note we can exhange our cracked materia attached to gear from 1.0 for special currency to use towards dungeon/primal gear.

Forum Features Updated (Jun. 14)

We have made following changes to the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Test Forum to assist in the efficient collection of feedback and to coincide with the dramatic increase of the number of testers in the Beta test phase 3.

• Thread Creation
  We have limited the creation of threads to three each day. Once a thread has been created, players must wait 60 minutes until they can create a new thread.
  * The thread creation limitation will be reset every day at 8:00 a.m. (PDT)/11 a.m. (EDT)/15:00 GMT.
  
  
• Forum Post
  The number of posts players can make in 1 day is limited to 20 posts. Also once they make a post, they must wait 15 minutes until they can make another post.
  * The limitation on the number of posts per day will be reset every day at 8:00 a.m. (PDT)/11 a.m. (EDT)/15:00 GMT.
  * The 15 minute restriction will also apply when players create a new thread.
  
  
• Maximum Character Limit
  The maximum number of characters per post has been limited to 750 characters per post.
  * This limitation will not apply on a "Bug Reports" category and the sub-categories found under it.
