why is Ragnarok and Excalibur NA servers? there Myth is based on EU culturesoh well we got Odin i guess
Ragnarok is considered an EU server actually.
Bolded for emphasis. The article specifically says that at first new characters won't be allowed on Legacy servers, but as the test progresses, they may allow it.
That said, my non-1.0 friends are just going to stay where they started last weekend and come over in Phase 4.
Anyone seen when they are releasing the new lodestone now? Last I saw was the 2nd time it was delayed with no time given.
Double-trouble

[NA] Regarding the Release of The Lodestone (Beta Version)
"We were originally planning to release The Lodestone (Beta Version) today, but the process of implementing the information that of the Character that was made in the game is having trouble, and we have decided to delay the release to a later date.
Estimated release date: Jun. 16, 2013 8:00 p.m. (PDT)
・The Character Image that is supposed to be displayed on the Character's Profile is not catching up.
* For the Characters that are not catching up, a silhouette image will be displayed. However, this process will be eliminated little by little as time goes by.
This may be inconvenient for some of our users, but we hope everyone will wait until it is fully resolved."
Who the heck translated that (poorly)? Lol
It's a dev post, so yeah :D
In the last letter I think they said We will do all changes to our accounts when Phase 4 Begins since it's also when our characters get transferred and saved. Don't know if it was said anywhere in writing.
And new players should be allowed to make characters on legacy servers during Phase 4. No reason to play with them this phase.
Edit: Also at this rate it seems like we might have our week of play time next week if everything goes well :3.
Yoshi-P can cut himself a fine-ass interview. Goodness. Speaks with candor and wit, yet speaks as if he truly understands the player and doesn't try to bullshit. I don't smell a whiff of PR when I hear him speak, and I've done nothing BUT work through PR in my career.
I want this game to succeed for many reasons, but that just might be my biggest one. You want to see people that do things the right way rewarded.
This. Most game developers give interviews where you end up wondering if they even play their own game. Yoshi really, really gets it, and he speaks to gamers as a gamer.
I'm really looking forward to this game, and even if I was just on the fence about it, I'd pre-order a copy just to thank him for his candor.
