Don't think all those bots will be too sad their 999mil gil has gone down to 99mil on several accounts, they can easily make it back hq'ing everything in mass to make all that gil back come Phase 4

I support p2p, but I'm older now and have much less tolerance for failure to deliver consistent dev cycles. A few things I want to see: A clear content roadmap shortly after launch, approx dates for content pushes, and delivery on their 2-3 month content promise. I'm hoping 3 months is the absolute max timeframe based on possible delays, because I feel that is too long anyways.

I'm just going to expect more this time around (lol?), specially with the added pressure SE should be under due to a) failed launch b) the f2p MMO climate.

You'll be surprised how many people had tens or hundreds of millions at the end of 1.0 lol, not just bots. This is the whole reason we have legacy servers separated from everyone else.

Most of them will probably just roll on a new server. There's no point to legacy servers if you only played a little bit unless all your friends are going as well.

Given that I think my character from last week is higher level in combat than my original (was only a crafter; I didn't want to "waste" levels playing a game with such shitty combat, and wanted to wait till fighting was fun to actually fight), I hope they aren't straight-up WIPING the characters we just made. I'd like to keep using him for actual combat, and just use my old dude as a testing point to buy up mats and craft a bit before retail. I think I had like, 12 mil or something when I quit for good (sometime that January), so hell, I may roll non-legacy if I don't have 30,000 friends that are going to carry my ass come legacy launch.

Given that we still have last week's characters on the lodestone, I hope that means they aren't wiping them just yet.

I got freaked out when they were talking about wanting everyone to upload their 1.0 characters. I don't know I made the correlation between that and a current wipe.

Old chars in phase 3 are just temporary copies that get wiped along with everything else, we don't get them back proper until phase 4 when we can rename/modify them and progress starts being kept for everyone.
