Oh okay. Is it after the airship pass part of the story?
So in regards to characters being transferred from Phase 4 to release, does that just apply to 1.0 characters? Or will that apply to anyone during the open beta who signs up using the same square enix account they are using for the test?
As I recall you obtain them in this test by speaking to the Wandering Minstrel
I just used scathe as a filler inbetween using all my MP with fire and swapping to ice; it fits in nicely on the GCD between transfusion and fire as its an instant spell.
I believe Scathe is THM's only instant nuke (besides Firestarter Fire3, I guess). Non-elemental might be useful down the line.
As a THM you shouldn't get hit much, the duration is tiny so it's difficult to predict when these rare occasions will be. If it works on shit like Hellfire then it's awesome though. I don't see why not but needs testing.
Scathe is good in Lucavi's scenario but being instant it's also good for the final hit on a mob if it will kill it .
Do we have any vague time frame for the next steps ? I was wondering what we know about how long between P3 and P4, how long P4 should last, how long the anticipated access would be etc
Basically when we'll be able to play what up to official release date
mana ward isn't bad, especially for something like the final boss in the Lv32 instance for the poison damage if your healer doesn't feel like dispelling it, or if you just want to use it before you get hit to reduce that damage. Also for the Lv30 boss, when the lanterns do their aoe, you can shield off the entire first tick of damage from them.
Slap on stoneskin and extra protection...!
May be other future encounters/raids that do aoe/random magic damage, and it'll have its use there.
I though they reduce the post cool down from 15 to 7 min on the OF or something
