The fuck is your problem, Kuro?
The fuck is your problem, Kuro?
um can someone explain that face img? ive been in a hole.
Relax, I kid I kid... even if its kind of true. I mean how absolutely absurd it would be to think that people wouldn't try to find the best deals possible to turn a profit with or without an AH. It's just human nature. An AH just makes the end results faster to obtain.
@Spira: It's the face you make when you realize you're doing something remotely gross/weird but you still like it. That face means "Me gusta" which is "I like" in Spanish.
My favorite.
Spoiler: show
@ everyone saying FFXI-2
Who gives a shit? Just make the game fun, thats why gamers play games, to have fun.
What happened when they tried to do everything completely the opposite of FFXI? Oh, yeah, thats right, biggest fail in MMO history happened. The game is bad because they tried "TOO HARD to be different" which alienated the majority of the playerbase they had built from FFXI. Most people were honestly expecting FFXI in HD in the first place with all their gripes from endgame, solo play to more stricter class balance addressed.
This game would have been very different had it just improved on things FFXI had that were being restricted by lolps2 limitations instead of creating this bastard child.
no shit
i think it's beyond absurd to complain that the changes are the second coming of ffxi when the game is currently godawful as played.
They've said since beta that they would be updating the camera controls to allow binding to the arrow keys, I'll believe it when i see it, though it's always nice to see the devs come out and say it directly.
I basically wanted to point out to those who always keep talking about the minigame that it's not really what makes crafting or gathering dull or exciting. The current shortcomings are elsewhere, and SE acknowledges that so all is well.
I'm doubtful that the end result will resemble XI too much. Just more than it currently does.FFXI-2 doesn't sound fun to me. There are reasons I stopped playing it. :-/
But I agree and hope against it. Been there, done that.
I may be wrong, but I bet more people play FFXI than FFXIV. And FFXIV is even free atm. So making the game into a FFXI-2 is going to be a better option.

Yes, it's a better option than not doing anything at all. But these are not the only two options.
But if Matsui doesn't have what it takes (quite a bit rests on his shoulders at this point after all), it'll have to do.
As far as music goes, I only really consider Dhona, LL areas, and LL good. Everything else is meh, and I really hate all the battle music. Just doesn't sound like a FF, though I can see maybe he was trying to bring back the epic FF7 electric guitar boss music? If so he hella failed. But overall I think the main issue is we have 3 large zones with 3 tracks that cover them. Of course it'll get old fast. Even though I 'like' the LL area music it gets hella old listening to it all.the.time. Even my roomie said "dude, can you turn that shit off? It's so damn annoying hearing it all the time".
XI's battle music was always dull. But the field tracks were pretty good.
In XIV I find it complete opposite. There's at least 3 fucking awesome battle tracks. Only few are underwhelming ,but there's a lot of them to make up for it. the field and city music is for the most part pretty meh. Gridania's town music is saved due to the awesome FFX reference.
But fuck arguing about opinions. There are better things to criticize for the Nth time as far as the game is concerned.
Too many people in this section think only 3 MMOs exist and are in denial about one of them; FFXI, FFXIV, and WoW.
Needs some serious pulling-heads-out-of-asses.
Mor Dhona and La Noscea have awesome music and while Thanalan, Shroud and Coerthas aren't amazing they seem to fit the area. I think you'd like them more if the areas weren't so massive. I don't have a problem with the battle or leve music either. Mor Dhona's battle music is awesome. Too bad that zone has nothing in it other than a couple of missions and an NM. They've even put rank 90-94 mobs around the camp where you start a story mission, which is quite retarded. Looking forward to doing my rank 90 leves there in 2018.
I've noticed the official forums and the game have a lot in common. Both released lacking many basic features that come as standard in forums/MMOs and they're dripping one little feature in at a time over a long period. I mean you still can't see who last posted in a thread. WTF?
