Primals are worshipped by Beastmen. With Shiva planned, whose more likely to be the snow zone Beastmen: Orcs or Gigas?

Mamool Ja are also confirmed so I'm hoping they get a primal.

I'm pretty sure gigas were confirmed in some lore text released ages ago on lodestone.

Well, from what I remember they at least confirmed them for the snowy region, don't remember if for Shiva specifically >.< Need to find that text.

As it currently stands that snowy region is Coerthas, and Natalan is still housed there. In addition Gigas seem to be a rather subterranean race according to what little lore pertains to them in Beta.

Gigas having shiva makes sense to me. In XI their homes were snowy places like Xarcabard. Do the XIV ones have similar physique and lore?

Gigas in FFXIV are copy-paste Briareus model Gigas from FFXI. What little lore we know is that they were controlled by magical helmets over 300 years ago by the Throne Dynasty in present day Ul'dah and used to mine shit.

They broke free of MIND CONTROL and were trapped in a cave-in (on purpose) but have recently broken free. There are a few free-roaming Gigas in NW Thanalan; and I guess technically they are hecatonchires not Gigas this time around. (though Giant seems to be socially-acceptable)

No idea what the FF community calls phases. Are phases simply CBT1, CBT2, CBT3, OBT, ETC, or do they call the weekends of every beta a phase? I was thinking we're about to enter phase 4 of CBT3, but I guess I was wrong. If that's the case then yeah, 4 is open.

And yeah, Gigas were usually qufim/delkfutt's, beaucedine/xarcabard, but I'm fairly sure the very first ones appeared in koko tunnel, which has nothing to do with snow.

For the record here's a freeroaming Gigas in XIV. I didn't take any pics of Copperbell for some reason, and I can only guess based on the placement in my screenshot folder, but this should be underground in Western Thanalan.

Correct; they're located just north of the place where Milfilia resides, or North-West from Horizon.

Were the gigas introduced to a high level of rock and roll? Because as soon as I heard mind control helmets this is all I could think of.

I remember what Qufim looked like, but I also remember people saying that everything was ash rather than snow from the fallout that blasted the island to hell.

Since there's never any snow weather or any ice-related mobs (aside from the gigas) I figured it was plausible enough.
