Don't forget that we glorious Legacy members also get our names in the game's credits because we helped designed it from the ground up.
It's already on my CV.
I used my real name for that very reason.
the IGN article is decent, comments are horrible. I have been surprised by the comments I've read from other game news site are always so positive.
My assumption is that the hermes shoes are only available on characters that currently have them in their inventories -- creating a new character will not allow you to obtain those items. When I created a new character for the first beta 3 my mog mail had the CE onion helm and asuran armguards in it, so that (along with the goggles) should transfer to any character.
I made new characters on Legacy as well as new servers during Phase 3. Only my 1.0 character had the sandals and they were already in my inventory.
So if you had [1.0 bonus gear] and you reroll on a non-legacy server, will the Delivery Moogle still have your bonus gear? What if you reroll on a legacy server?
Are the 1.0 bonus items strictly deliverable to transferred 1.0 characters? I know in phase 3, my helm and armguards went to the mailbox of the new character I created on a non-legacy server (during the first weekend when 1.0 characters were unavailable) but my sandals were in the inventory* of my 1.0 character on the following weekend.
* might have been with the calamity storage guy, don't specifically remember
I was able to receive the onion helm and asuran armguards on every new character I made via mailbox.
I created a new character on a non legacy server during the beta and I had Asuran/Onion waiting for me at the moogle. I doubt they'd change that for release.
Did they give us a code to get Hermes Sandals, or was it automagic? I forget.
It was an FFXI+FFXIV payment thing, I think.
Automagic. You created the character and they were born with it.
(I do believe other shit functioned that way in 1.0 too)
Ok guys stop beeing retard, all the 1.0 bonus items are Account tied, so it's normal you get them on new character
Asuran Armguards, Onion Helm, Garland googles you can still get them on a new account or an existing account that doesn't have them if you have an unused code (Just need to wait till SE reactivate the code entry)
Sandals are gone for good, you got them by having a FFXI + FFXIV account on the same SE ID. If you didnt do it it's gone for good
If I understood it, I don't see why you guys can't
updates to the main FFXIV site also a new vid
Teehee.. i love how they're giving nods to Momodi, Miounne and Baderon. I liked all 3 of them in 1.0 Momodi's my fave but I've decided to start in LL for retail ;o
the video is really nice. I've not tried any of the dungeons during my time in beta so all of them were interesting to see. There's definitely a lot of varying flavor to each place as they look, feel and sound different (do they all have their own musical theme? I like how they adapted Toto-raks theme) As someone who's visually/aesthetically quite particular with his FFs i am very pleased. (i dunno but Sastasha gave a very strong Norg/Sea Serpent Grotto vibe lol. must be the pirate/sahagin thing).
now if only the music played more than once a dungeon![]()
Damnit SE, why must you tease us? This just makes my itch to play that much worse!
I heard their might be another class still unannounced. Is there any reason to think that or just wishful thinking?
The video has me amped up for this game.. *sigh* I look at FFXI and think "man what's life gonna be like not playing you?" 8 years I put in that game :D
