it would be very silly not to use assets from other games. Between 1.0s,ffxiii, and xi's monster's Theyve managed to produce a very good variety of enemies.

Titan screenshots and talk of them calculating DPS down to the decimal so you'll have to be on your A-game for end game content.

Titan is beefcake.
Man, they're putting way too many eggs in this level 50 basket.
All I could think of when I read "fell off the ring" is how miserable the Extreme encounter is going to be if the responsiveness issues aren't fixed. Cynical much etc
The arena looks cool though.
I wonder if Titan Extreme will simply be used for the (new) relic quest or if this is a hint at Extreme modes becoming an actual raiding tier/mode. I'd prefer the latter tbh but we'll see.
Can someone translate the name of the Duty in this picture? Although it sounds like the name might not be real (see his comment about the text in parenthesis). Either way, the area looks like Halatali to me. It'd be interesting if the low level dungeons are actually reused at level50.
Also we usually make new threads for these... I guess I could make a new thread.
I... what?
Anyway, in the E3 trailer... the party is in the Titan area when the PLD uses that wall move.
You can see this better if you look at the IGN interview with Matt Hilton since they show more of the area. (I know its the Titan area because they actually pan the camera enough for you to get a glimpse of Titan himself)
What's there to what? Did you not click on my link or something?

That's definitely Halatali, or an area extremely similar. Probably just used a debug command to shove the boss in there for testing since the real dungeon wasn't ready or something.
I don't know. I'm sure they'll have the iconic Primals all at Lv.50. Then as the level cap progresses, they'll probably be more Primals. They aren't limited storywise with Primals like Avatars in FFXI. Other Primals could be higher level content: Fenrir, Asura, Siren, etc. I can kinda see the Lv.50 content as being easier with subsequent level cap increases, but that allows it to be a gathering ground for people to gear up for harder content.
It's also probably intentional that the dungeon loot is more vertical than horizontal. As the level cap increases, and it settles at a number they'll be more horizontal content.
Weapons come from Ifrit, Garuda, and Titan. The casual will gear up with just one Primal weapon, the hardcore will gotta catch 'em all. While the weapons look rad, I'm wondering if all Primals will drop weapons. If it's all weapons I want a FC that only allows players to equip Shiva weapons.
I think he's talking about the screen where they're fighting the Hydra/Tiamat-looking boss. They are in Halatali for whatever reason ("Hall of the Bestiarii" can be seen on the minimap).
edit: beat, herpderp
Will be funny to watch those that are lagging from the JP instance servers, to go flying off the edge constantly. Must be kind of rough if ya got JP playing on the JP server failing it though!
At least from the USA there is no real noticeable lag issues between NA or JP servers ingame from the tests I've done/posted.
Why is it so delusional? Aren't the Hard Primal fights basically horizontal content? You can't Dual-Wield the axes. I'm not saying it will be a full blown system, vertical scaling is obviously the direction MMO take. I'm just saying that there might be more options as the level cap settles.
Who else noticed that the right gamepad icons were the XBox colors/letters and not the PS3/PS4 shapes?
Are they always like that?
You can use an Xbox controller on PC. When I actually use a controller I use my Xbox one.
On that job list there, 2nd job down = Summoner and 8th = Scholar? if so does that confirm that Summoner won't be able to main heal? (not that I really expected it to be able to but yeah.)
