At a good guess I'd say phase 4 will start on the 16th. It's a Friday, people will be at work (EU)/sleeping before work (NA) when it starts so less people hammering the servers. Likewise the 23rd looks like a good date for early access for the same reason. Starting them on a weekend would just be crazy and realistically it won't be after those weekends. With those dates phase 4 could run until the 21st giving 5 days and a 2 day break between them. At this point expecting anything more than that is crazy.

I think if they still feel they need another healer class, they could do Chemist class with Medic and Saboteur jobs. Would seem to fit in nicely in Ul'dah with the Alchemy guild. That city could still use a healer as well. Would be fun to have an aoe healer/support and another magical/trap damage dealer.

I'm fucked with early access no matter how it goes. Away from the 22nd until late on the 25th lol. Got 26th and 27th off work though.

I wonder if we will even see any new classes attached to the three starter cities (apart from Musketeer). With this requirement for a guild to exist they'd have to extend the cities somehow. I'm seeing it now; first expansion with Ishgard and new classes with their guilds based in that city. Musketeer will probably drop in a patch before then, along with secondary jobs for current classes.

Did they say there'd be an NA guide are you guys just speculating because you saw the JP book? FFXI had something like 200 books released so far, including fashion manuals. No evidence we'll get anything like that over here.

They tend to clock in around 2 hours long. Unless you speak Japanese, there's little to be gained from watching these live. There's usually a variety of pictures people take to look at later, and the rough translations go up shortly after it's done (some of it during, even).

Rein is doing a live translation, so lots to be gained. Hes been amazing for the last couple live letters, its cool to watch the live gameplay they show also, usually of stuff we have not seen yet. Most likely they will be showing Arcanist gameplay this time around and talking about its class mechanics.

I know of the official links, but how does this guy do a live translation? (Where is it located, etc). Never seen it before.
