Someone actually fluent in Japanese can correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems to indicate that early access codes are going out on the 22nd, not necessarily that early access starts on the 22nd, but five days would certainly be nice to have.

edit: someone said "according to my gf and one other person I asked, it means that early access is starting on the 22nd", but we don't have much longer to wait for some announcements anyway

I thought we would be able to register our codes today if our retailers gave them to us. Amazon already sent me my preorder code weeks ago when I preordered a ps3 copy just waiting for the site to update I think.

Yeah, that's pretty much what it says I think. It's expected that fourteen days from now, on the 22 second, is when early access will be. And then some PS store stuff about bundles and shit that I didn't care about.

Amazon sent me a promo code but it's only 18 digits and I think only registered the game on that non-account SE site http://na.square-enix.com/us/home

So I guess I haven't received mine from amazon either. Should I cancel and re-preorder? Should I use a different retailer?

I pre-ordered the CE from SE and so far all I have received is the 18 digit game code. No 20 digit code here either.

Well, I sent in a ticket to GMG just in case maybe SE hadn't doled out the codes or if perhaps my 18-digit one doubles. The mail I got when I'd ordered said this:

Hence why maybe they'll work when general registration opens, but dunno.

I actually got 2 codes shortly after I preordered: 1 is a normal PS3 code for early access and the other is a 20 digit code for the items. Maybe it's simply different for the US or the PC for some reason (preordered the PS3 CE)?

Gonna laugh if it turns out the "20 digit code" line is a mistake and they mean "18" because by the time it's fixed everyone will have freaked the fuck out.

Nobody I know has a 20 digit code. Not sure whether this should make me feel better or worse. I think either the guy that set up the page messed up (which, given their track record with pages for this game, shouldn't surprise anyone) or everyone got trolled with their codes.

Given the latest posts (which I missed), another thing that seems likely is:

-Register the 18-digit code here: PREORDER.EU.FINALFANTASYXIV.COM / PREORDER.NA.FINALFANTASYXIV.COM
-Receive multiple 20-digit codes for all the individual bonuses.

Preordered the PS3 version and only got 1 18 digitit code and on the SE site it says that it<s for windows only (20 character) for PS3 to reclaim it on the PSN store, but no idea where to enter it

Let's hope they clear it up during the letter

Looks like some retailers got the generic 18 digit code (used to redeem the real codes I guess) and some got the real codes right away.

Hmm, Well I know the 18 digit(6-3-6-3) code is the "SE Members code" used to register ownership of the game on their members site. Beyond that I have no idea lol.
