I wonder how easy it is to dual box on the same PC in ARR. It was quite popular in 1.0 via the buddy code collector's edition got. But you had to use an unofficial addon to get two clients open. Probably going to be the same in ARR.

I think the reason this whole thing was is because of how multi-boxing was popular in XI but had some people wondering if S-E is actually allowing it or w/e. Maybe they wanted to clarify that, but that info actually created more confusing at first.

The best part about that QA entry is how it was wrong when they first posted it. It used to say "you can play three accounts simultaneously if you have two games/keys" (which is obviously incorrect).

I can't remember how long they took to fix it, but I always thought it was pretty funny.

This part sounds so obviously trite as to be useless. Why would they feel the need to explain that if you have three different SE accounts and three different copies of the game and three different PCs, that you could play three different accounts at the same time? Wouldn't you be able to play an unlimited number of accounts at the same time (as long as you have a separate SE acct+game copy for each PC)? Or are they making some extremely veiled reference to server-side anti-NAT technology?

My best guess is they were trying diffuse the situation to where people would apply the PS3 CE code to an existing PC ffxiv service and complain that they cannot access both accounts at the same time.

If you apply your ps3 code under an existing ffxiv service, you or no one else will be able to access those characters associated with it at the same time, which is quite a waste. If you place it under the same SE account and separate service accounts you can play any characters on either account simultaneously. I think they bothered to mention because two PC copies never encountered this issue (in 1.0 there were only pc copies), as both will naturally need to be registered as their own service account, but with PS3 you can now apply that retail key to an existing ffxiv service account to absorb the benefits (CE rewards and free month).

It wasn't about feminism; it was created as a style of horse-back riding for people in skirts. It just so happens that, back then, only ladies did this. To me, it just looks takcy, especially when male characters, in robes and such, don't ride side saddle but the females do. Bet they don't even have the right saddle model either, but I can't tell, from that picture.

You didn't need any extra programs to multi-box in p3, just a strong enough system to handle it. I was able to dual box easily but the third client would just close on me for some reason.

In TERA, I would hear endless bitching about how races like Castanics would side saddle and how that was a terrible idea. Lion mount pic came out, people praised it up and down. Shit looked awful in game and side saddle ended up looking better. lol

Way easier to dismount riding sidesaddle, for the record. Had to ride that way once because of a broken leg. My girlfriend rides her ATV like that too.
