17th-19th. 16th if you played (were registered?) for any previous phase.

Most likely just registered. I can't see them tracking if you actually played as opposed to just entering the code.

That's the assumption I've been running on but I haven't seen them clarify at all. The spotty translations we got weren't very clear so I don't want to claim that's the case on the off chance it's wrong.

Yeah for sure. One of my friends is unsure since he didn't actually play in Phase 3 but added the code during it. I guess I'm just thinking (read: hoping) they will take the most logical course of action and he doesn't have to feel the wrath of Yoshi P's denial.

Article was pretty much empty thoughts strung together based on opinions of the series lately (which I don't entirely disagree with) and some guess work as to what the content of the new game is. You're right, though, that once the OF sees this there are probably going to be a lot of stupid comments berating the writer which does not help anyone.

And lol at "Female Hyur Highlander." Yes, that is the main selling point of the game.

EDIT: The fact that half the article is a stupid analogy should tell you something.

I'd agree that I'm burned after 1.0, however, I didn't spend anywhere near the amount of money the product he is using as an example for. The more money you invest into something, the more you're going to be burn imo. $60 being nothing, yeah I'm pissed I spent it on a broken game, but I'm getting the next version free too. If apple releases a shitty product, they are taking your money and asking more for the next.

The author certainly does an excellent job of doom-and-gloom'ing the game. He fails to mention the reason the game went offline last November however, or the outstanding reception it has received. He does little justice to XI as well, passing it off as just an EQ clone, and thus as unsuccessful in any way, shape, or form. He definitely brings his opinion into the piece but at the cost of any real facts. In other words, it's just some guy with a buzzfeed author account putting his feelings on the internet for all to see. It's misguided and lacking in facts to backup his opinion because that's all it is at the end of the day. Time will tell if he's right though.
