All corporations are holding their money outside the US because they despise the 35% tax bracket their billions will be hit at. The past week 60 Minutes had an interview with someone from Cisco Systems. They have $40billion sitting in a Swiss bank that can't be brought to the US. They asked the guy if the tax was reduced to 20% if they would consider bringing the money back to the US, he just smiled.
Also the amount of withheld tax money overseas can probably cut the national debt by $1trillion but who needs ethics when your profiteering off the little guys and getting away with it!
Question: When condemning the American tax system, are you doing so comparatively or nominally? If comparatively, what country does it better?
Right is right and wrong is wrong, regardless of what anyone else is doing. Didn't your mother ever teach you that?
I think I can sum up every post Rhinox ever makes in a political thread with one simple picture:
Grats, now you never have to post again.
Hell, while I'm at it, might as well cover Kuya's thoughts as well:

Businesses are just being businesses. I have no issue with that.
I have issue with the fact that the government lets them get away with it because the government is essentially a business too. It's like everyone has a hard on for business.
I think I can some up all of Plows posts when it comes to the clinton administration and now the Obama administration (which is really clintons third term) in political threads
Both Terrible presidents one can argue.

Grats now you never post again!
If you guys want real comedic gold ask Plow to list the reason why Clinton and Obama are Liberal. Bless his little heart he tried so heart it almost brought tears to me eyes.
Funny you mention this.. they actually changed their mind as a result of the earthquake/tsunami. They kinda realized that they might need the extra revenue, and Japanese corporations will gladly pay it out of a sense of duty to their countrymen & country. It's just the way their society works.
Sickening, isn't it?
I think the most frustrating thing is that this is going on while some people are accusing public unions of causing the deficit, and while talks of austerity are going on in the government right now which might mean cuts to social services like social security.
It looks like a really bad time to be poor and middle class.
To add to that apparently abortions are to blame for our social security problems.
The pattern seems to be: cut taxes for companies, create deficit, attack unions and social services.
Could you guys stop biting eachother's dicks? There are two mods watching the thread.
