Yeah, loved how two of their guys slid and tried to take McCann out, and both were out even though they inexplicably called Fielder safe.

Yeah, loved how two of their guys slid and tried to take McCann out, and both were out even though they inexplicably called Fielder safe.

I don't know what Gomez was thinking with that half slide half stand thing. If he slides head first I think he's safe easily. Hard to tell on his replay if they got him, one angle looked like he was safe, another out. Fielder was clearly out (maybe a make up call from the ump idk). Also catchers getting taken out at home is part of the job. That's like a second basemen complaining that he was taken out to break up a double play.

Edit: Heyward destroyed that ball he hit out. Guy had a perfect contact point with it.
