Pence is better than most, if not our whole lineup right now. I would have loved to have him personally. :< We better not come out of this with... nothing to show for it.

Hey i was screaming for Ross last year. What other right handed bat is out there now?
edit: Looks like Quentin or Upton. Both are free agents after this season and i absolutely hate rental players.
It was an overpay but I'm glad Rube wasn't stupid enough to trade Brown.
Not too bad of a deal...glad the Phils get to hang onto Brown. Oswalt likely coming back next week too. I can't wait for the playoffs.
First sac fly for Atl in a month. Mind is blown.
Yeah. The plus side is he isn't a rental and a nice .300+ BA and .800+ OPS is no joke, especially with the leaguewide offensive deflation.
Also Beachy rebounds with a great start and Uggles is over the Mendoza line.
40 pitches for Cordero.
Jesus fuck
was that play at the plate close? at work
It was "close" but not really. Only chance to beat it was an off throw and the throw was on.
Aroldis is silly
god damnit brian wilson
got heeeeem
I'm not okay with Domonic Brown likely getting sent down because of this. If you replace Raul Ibanez with Hunter Pence you get a great upgrade, but replacing Brown isn't nearly as good. I thought it was a really expensive trade at first, but having him through 2013 is really nice. Plus I read somewhere that like, 4% of prospects traded ended up being superstars, or something like that.
I'm sorry but I'll take ibanez streaks over brown in the line up. He's 23 yo, send him down ad keep getting at bats.
I listen to this about once a month:
Spoiler: show
I dunno which town's fans liked it better, Philly or DC.
Dom Brown sent down. I'd still rather his consistency over Ibanez's streaky nature. I'm sure he'll be up in September and for good next spring.
