Am I reading this correctly or are you seriously not giving him credit for knocking the cover off the ball for the past month+.
Hitting .190 = dude sucks
Hitting .350+ during hit streak = LUCK LUCK OMG LUUUUCK
There is luck involved in some of the hits, but seriously. He had two more HR's last night and has been carrying the offense with McCann down.
I just worded it horribly. I know he's been on fire with this streak. I wish I wasn't on my iphone so I could have linked the article, but it was going over previous years of batted balls versus outs - homeruns and other random stats, and it pretty much said Uggla this year has been the same as previous years, just without the breaks to get some hits like he has in previous years.
I read yesterday that he only has 8 multi hit games during the streak, that seems really low.
Posada's letting the Yankees know what's up lol...
Yeah a .681 OPS coming into today...
Spoiler: show
And another hit for Uggla, this is getting ridiculous now.
What do they call him?
That's right.
Dan Uggla.
I will be the first to say that I hated this man to start the year because of his stubborn attitude in regards to his struggling, but whatever the man did to fix that.. just holy shit.
You know what, the braves can't complain because at least he's not as bad as adam dunn lol.
Uggla's numbers against the fastball during the streak: .421 BA .842 SLG 1.318 OPS
DiMUGGLIO
I'm actually happy uggla has turned it around. Picked him up on waivers for my money league lol
Dan Uggly, dat hit streak. Posada hits a granny and 6 rbi's and Weaver gives up 8, crazy day.
offense sucked when we won a world series. problem?
There have been six games since 2008 where a team hit 7 home runs in a game.
Reds have five of them.
