Well I didn't count him since he hadn't really done..anything since getting to SF. Dodged a bullet there.

But really. I like the spunk of Jose "Georgie" Constanza, but he's riding one of the biggest waves of luck I've ever seen in my life and Heyward's suffering because of it

I hate Fredi majority of the time (any decision involving pitching especially), but I agree with this *Short Term*. Heyward is batting pure shit right now, Constanza is hot, even with the limited plate appearances. Ride him until he cools down. If anything, he does bring the speed factor into the game and distracts the other team's pitcher at the least when he's on base. Send Heyward down to the minors for a week or two and let him get some confidence back against some sub-par pitching and hope it carries over into September for the playoff run. The way Heyward is going right now, he's just getting worse and sitting on the bench every couple of nights for someone else to play RF isn't helping confidence or his swing.

Beltran is on the DL along with Romo. Tejada activated cause we need a body and Runzler recalled.

Yeah, noticed that, and after three innings, Giants are making Delgado look like an ace. I guess until he gets hit around (here's hoping he doesn't), this gets his confidence up. Then again.. his first start was against the Rangers..

Yeah, I mean I get that. Ride what's hot.. but Heyward won't ever *get* hot if he doesn't really see the field, you know? And we already have a burner in the line-up in the name of Bourne. How's Bourn done so far in ATL anyway? I haven't really checked his numbers.

And 2+ innings with Sanchez.. and only one walk? Where's da walks at

Edit: I fuck up Bourn(e)'s name so many damn times.

Of course as I type this out about Constanza, he bunts a base hit.. lol

Giants have the easiest schedule in terms of opponents remaining W/L record of all the playoff contenders. If they can't overtake the big bad DBacks then lol.

And the Brewcrew has the #3 so they should hold onto the division without a problem.

Yeah that's why I say send him to minors for a week or two, so he can get some ABS and also gain some confidence back. I don't really think there's anything wrong with him other than his mind messing with him. Already seen him handle the big leagues fine last year, just needs a confidence boost.

As far as Bourn goes, he's done alright everything I've watched so far. Regardless he's an upgrade over Mclouth/Schafer in all aspects of the game. Think his batting avg is down a few points, but that's pretty much how anybody goes after coming to the Braves for some reason. Ship them elsewhere and avg magically jumps .050~.100 points for some reason.

Nice run down there too. Shouldn't have been in it but at least he made them work to get him out.

Yeah. Bourn really ran the Giants down, rofl. Is he trying to wear out their remaining players or something? At least it's 1-0, though. And yeah, Bourn's average is down a tad, but he's still hitting .291/.339/.327.. which even as meh as a .667ish OPS looks, is miles better than Schafer/McLouth, lol.

Either way.. I agree somewhat on the Heyward thing. Watching Constanza is fun, though.. but hearing people say he should absolutely start over Heyward is

And Alex Gonzalez may be a rotting husk at the plate, but in the field.. god damn.

And Sanchez is injured and out of the game...... Seriously, if the Giants make the playoffs with all these injuries and underperformers, it will be a god damn christmas miracle.

I guess you completely missed the page where we A) pointed out Sanchez's injrury and B) pointed out how weak the Giants schedule is for the rest of the year, lol

and it won't be a miracle at all. they're playing some terrible teams to finish up

Braves making Mota look like Cy Young, lol. I figured it'd be Sanchez, but since he's hurt, it's gotta be someone.
