I know MLB terms. I've heard dozens of times in small talk a scoreless game being called a "shutout" by the other team. In fact I posted that right after hearing it on ESPN.

No one gives a shit about the difference except some sabermetrics nerd.

Rangers are at 25 scoreless innings in a row, all that matters.

There's a difference between a team throwing a shutout and a pitcher pitching a shutout. Nvm, clicked on saturday's scoreboard, not Sunday's. Still, learn your terms if your going to spout stuff off.
