If I was a Phillies fan, I would be worried. In an elimination game, all it takes is one bad game and it's all over. No one outside of Cards fans expected the Cards to win. As the presason favorites, and 100+ games winner, it would be a major disappointment if the Phils got knocked out the first round. TRAGIC!

I think most people who aren't Phillies fans would be happy to suffer that tragedy. I'm very nervous about game 5. The pitching has been serviceable to untouchable, but the offense has been really really shit. I heard last night that they've had something like 20 1-2-3 innings in this series. It's been a shitty series for them.

Yep lot of both here, go to any Rays vs. Boston or Rays vs. Yankees games there's a lot of both fans in the stands, makes for some interesting dynamic when people start drinking and getting irritated with each other. Best experience was the game last year Rays vs. Yankees (when Price and Sabbathia were pitching) lot of Yanks fans in the outfield with my friend and I, perhaps one of the most fun games I've been to just with the ragging between the fans.

I got a lot of love for Yankees fans, they're not terribly obnoxious unlike Boston fans, they are assholes every time I deal with them. Also, I can man up and root for the Yankees as long as it means Boston is losing. We share that mutual hatred. It's nice.

yea it sucks living here...nothing but yankees+red sox, and occasionally some one else. I grew up a yankees fan, so i have a mutual shared hatred for them. But i think its an eastern/northern new england thing cuz i hate the patriots and their fans too

It's pretty funny about the whole Red Sox/Yankees/Rays thing...

I'm a Red Sox fan, and obviously hate the Yankees. But since Steinbrenner left the picture, I frequently find myself hating the Rays more than the Yankees.

I see the Rays as a bunch of dickheads who call Joe Maddon "coach" or "skip" and revel in what a great story they are (were). They probably do that team huddle thing where the players all put their hands into a huge "all in" pile then shout "RAYS!" before each game. Maybe even between innings. Then they promise Maddon to give him 110%. I hate teams like that.

Between my hatred of the Rays, Buck Showalter being a giant cunt, and the Blue Jays being from Canada... the Yankees might be my 2nd favorite AL East team of 2011... and I fucking hate the Yankees.

I'm pulling for a Tigers/Brewers world series... D-Backs would be acceptable... don't really want to see Philly or St. Louis there again... I hate the Rangers for some reason.

Of all the teams still in it - I'm pulling for Detroit, despite them having that fat piece of shit Brad Penny.
