Glad Cruz is picking up Hamilton's, Beltre's, and especially Michael Young's slack. Cruz was a close 2nd for ALCS MVP last year and at this rate, he'll be the clear cut winner this year. Need to close out this game then hopefully close out this series. The Tigers scare me. It's not over until there's a 4 in the win column. Tigers can easily win the back 3.

more than half of the hits he allowed were bloops and soft grounders that went through. Cards won because they made contact with fucking everything our pitchers threw, and the Phillies were swinging like it was batting practice.

Yeah, I know Lee was BABIP'd to death that night, but if he wasn't then that never happens. When you start bringing luck into it you just leave yourself open. The offense didn't look great that series, not at all, but it's not like they didn't make it competitive until game 5.
