2 amazing plays by Andrus/Kinsler in the last 2 innings.

Rangers bats go cold when it matters most, again.
Wow, HUGE hit
La Russa overmanaging here?

Woo Hambone and his one handed groin injured swing finally did something good.
Motte just didn't have it, but the big thing was the fielding blunder not to throw to the cut-off man on Andrus's hit.
Manufacturin' runs like nobodies business.
God I'll never be comfortable with Nefty as closer, almost give me a heart attack every time.
WOW! I've never been on the edge of my seat like that 9th in my life. Got a little luck, sprinkled with some amazing, ballsy base running, and crucial sac flys. Wow... When Nefty walked the lead off man, my heart sunk. Those back to back strikeouts were huge. I'm still very uncomfortable going forward in this series even with the next 3 in Texas. Our bats have gone cold like they did last year and the most important time of the year. We need to wake the fuck up or it'll be a repeat of last year's Fall Classic.
That's how a World Series game is supposed to feel, great game and series thus far. I'll go out on a limb and say Texas is going to explode next game and put up 7 or 8 runs.
i miss the moments after game 1. rangers fans were so quiet and no where to be found
I'm happy this thread's getting action.. I hope the series gets okay ratings, but I know it won't and it's sad. A couple real good games to start off the series.
Only problem with that is so will St. Louis. The Ballpark in Arlington is an extremely hitter-friendly ballpark. The outfield is so small and any kind of wind will create a jetstream to the stands.
In 2011, The Ballpark in Arlington Ranks 1st in runs scored, 1st in homeruns, 3rd in hits, 4th in doubles, 1st in triples, and 13th in walks. Based on that, the scores should see a sizable jump coupled with the fact the #3 and #4 starters are on the mound. (Although technically, Holland is our #2 but didn't get the start because Colby Lewis performs much better on the road than he does at home.) Derek Holland also led the majors in run support. I think these games can get up into the double digits.
It's over a year past, but I still can't figure out how game 1 last year had 18 runs scored at AT&T park. I think Petco is the only park that's a bigger drain on runs scored. Games 3-5 should be fun though. Really hoping this series goes a full 7.
