Now the Cubs can suck with a well known "President of Baseball Operations".. beers in the clubhouse during the game for everybody!
Giants fans, I need a Brian Wilson jersey on the cheap or a shirt with that looks like a jersey, where would I find one?
Halloween shit.
As a Red Sox fan, I'm pretty infuriated with how the whole Theo thing went down.
August, Cubs let it get out they want to sign Theo to be their president. Tampering, basically.
October, Cubs ask to speak to Theo. Red Sox grant permission. By this point, it's obvious they already spoke to him anyway. Again, tampering.
After reaching an agreement with Theo, the Cubs and Red Sox enter talks on compensation. The talks go like this.
Red Sox: How about Starlin Castro?
Cubs: No.
Red Sox: Matt Garza?
Cubs: No.
Red Sox: Brett Jackson?
Cubs: No.
Red Sox: Trey McNutt?
Cubs: No.
Red Sox: Well, then what do you propose?
Cubs: You don't need to pay Theo, and that's enough. We're not giving you anyone on our 40 man roster. We're not giving you any minor leaguer who might project to something of value someday.
...Castro was unreasonable, but worth a shot asking for. Garza makes sense, since the Cubs are probably 3-5 years away from competing, Theo or not, and he'll be gone by then.
For the Cubs to think they can raid our front office without giving up anything of value is insulting. The fact that they've basically gotten away with it is infuriating. Red Sox should have taken their ball and gone home after the Cubs said no to Brett Jackson. They were already way too invested into Theo coming to Chicago. If Theo stayed in Boston for the last year of his contract, the Cubs risk losing him to another team... Cubs had more to lose.
The whole situation just pisses me off.
Josh Hamilton has a sports hernia that needs surgery after the World Series. He needs to be removed from the lineup if he can't swing the bat. Washington is going to hurt us if he's too stubborn to budge.
Dat Craig...
Well that didn't take long....
Anyone got a link of tonight's game? Trying to watch it on my pc, but can't find anything yet.

Damnit Nappy should have given Molina the ol Buster Posey for effect![]()
Bah TX should just set up a tee ball for cards to hit from might get more outs faster that way =[
lol baseball is rigged not even wearing the tinfoil hat to post this either both teams fucking suck
Ogando picked good time to start sucking too.
Lol, that dick will never be allowed at another game ever. Good decision.
GG Pujols
Oh wow Congrats Pooholes.
At first I was pissed that that blown call in the 4th effected the game, but the way we played defensively down the stretch, we definitely didn't deserve to win anyway. Pujols heating up too, that's not a good sign. Our "Game 2 savior" Kinsler failed us today with lots of people on base, most notably with the bases loaded when it was a 2-run game.
Edit: Pujols HR #3... lol
Pujols is raping face tonight.
Also as far as the epstein thing, MLB all but said no major leaguers were to be included in compensation. There was already prescedent set in compensation. And all honesty if your pissed, blame boston for allowing it to happen.
