Although I'm not happy with the outcome, I can't deny that this has been some of the best baseball I've ever seen. This has been a thrilling series from Game 1. The whole end of the season coming down to the last game, Sox/Braves missing. Philly bounced in the 1st. This has been the best Spet/Oct of baseball in a looong time.

Cards bullpen choked just as much, they just had the ability to walk off because they are at home.

Both bullpens have sucked compared to what they were doing during the season and the first 2 postseason series.

Ogando and Dotel were both untouchable and both have been terrible.

Yea, I have to agree, maybe a top 10 ws game, but not best. In no particular order that was better, the game 6 & 7 of the 91 series between the Braves and Twins blow this one out of the water.

Would it actually be considered choking if we lose? No one had us getting past the Tigers. Hell half of you had the Oakland A's winning our division. Other than Game 3, it's not like we are getting blown out. Three 1-run games, plus a game 7 in a series we didn't have homefield advantage to begin with? I don't think you can call that choking but it's Texas so everything is exaggerated. Everything is bigger in Texas, omg. But if we do lose, it will be extremely disappointing. We may not get this chance again in 103 years...

That was a helluva game last night I gotta admit. When Cruz tried to catch that Freese ball in the 9th instead of playing it off the wall I actually yelled "What the fuck are you doing!!" at the TV screen. He plays that off the wall Berkman doesn't score and the Rangers win the game.

As for it being the greatest WS game ever, I don't think it was as good as some of the games in the Twins vs Braves or Yanks vs D-Backs series, but a definite candidate for the top 10.

Yes it will be a choke job. Cardinals shouldn't even be in the playoffs.

Texas really isn't built for NL ball, it's painfully obvious in the end of these games in St. Louis. Meanwhile the Cards can just insert Allen Craig when they need a DH.

The All-Star game decides home field gimmick needs to end, it's a damn exhibition game why does it decide HFA in the WS.
