the following Red Sox players have filed for free agency:

David Ortiz: Keep, have Youk stay at third with Aviles/Lowrie giving him some time off to avoid injury.
Jonathan Papelbon: Keep.
Eric Bedard: Rather not keep, crossing my fingers for Oswalt and Darvish.
Tim Wakefield: See Bedard. I like the guy, but it's time to move on.
Jason Varitek: Let him walk/retire. Go with Salty/Lavarnway in 2012.
J.D. Drew: Let him walk/retire.
Conor Jackson: Meh. Might be a decent bat off the bench. Probably better options.
Trever Miller: Let him walk. He has good stuff, but has never figured it out.
