Jeter to the DL, does this make the Yanks better?
Seems mightily average to me.
Now that your ace Colon is dead, who knows.
J-BRUCE
I dunno, tell me how it feels to be worse than the Cubs
I love that picture
I hate the Phillies, their team pitching stats are so absurdly good :[
And that's with Halladay regressing slightly from last year, Lee having awful luck (.333 BABIP in 2011, career .297), and Oswalt being injured and having some velocity and strikeout issues. Hamels is the only one really pitching out of his mind on the staff right now, and he's easily on the NL CY short list, if not at the top.
Ask me about my pitching staff.
Should have given Wilson Valdez the spot start today.
Wat. They have an absurd pitching staff with 4 #1 starters at their disposal.. but Atlanta, and even the Giants are fairly comparable to them too. Hell, how old is that picture? If it's yesterday's, then that's after Lowe gave up like 6 runs or someshit to the Houston Astros, so that's hurt a little more in the ERA department.
But yeah. Phillies have a great staff, but not better than anyone else 'by a far margin' in terms of the numbers.
If the Bravos didn't have such a piece of shit offense with most of it missing, I'd say they'd be right up there with the Phillies and the best in the league, but alas. They have to start Brandon Hicks, bat Dan Uggla, he of a .180 batting average SECOND, Eric Hinske on a daily basis... etc.
braves suck bro
