Players probably took into account that Wilson missed most of spring training and the first week of the season. 2 of his blown saves came in like the first week he was active.
I think it's more likely they remembered him pitching in the WS. His K/BB and WHIP are terrible. He doesn't deserve to be on the team.
Lol.
Walk Lucroy to load the bases with two outs and get Marcum to the plate.
Get grand-slammed. Marcum's first career home run. LolDBACKS.
God damn MLB network. I just moved from PA (where the Phillies were on CSN) to Baltimore, and the Yankees are on over the Phillies when I thought it was supposed to be regional coverage. I guess MLB Network wants everyone to watch Jeter bloop his way to 3,000. I need to order Extra Innings...just waiting for the all star break for it to get cheaper.
cancel it and get mlb.tv. Call them and tell them you aren't getting phillies coverage and just make sure they wont black you out.
If I didn't get blacked out by SNY I'd watch online because it alllows me to do shit at my pc since my pc isn't near a tv. I hope I don't get sny in buffalo when I move cuz then I might not be able to watch games anymore:<
MLB.tv is my last resort...my computer sucks and I have a pretty nice TV that I like to watch games on. Unfortunately comcast down here covers the Orioles so I gotta hope for a rare MLB network showing or national coverage of some sort. If what I've heard is true and the Extra Innings package drops in price after the all star break I'll probably do that...otherwise I'll probably do MLB.tv.
MLB Network is pretty good about the games they show based on region. D:
Also lol. Yanks do good with Nunez.. Jeter comes back, they promptly lose.
Anyone want John Lackey?
Anyone?
Wilson's pitching is never about hits or walks. He actually loads the bases during every save opportunity to troll the fuck out of his fans.
He got voted in because he has some nasty ass pitches, especially with the 2-seam fastball that he worked on in the offseason. He's got movement with power that is exactly what you want in a closer and exactly what hitters fear, even if he isn't having the best year ever. Most other closers are pretty yawn - fastball, small slider, fastball. Wilson and Romo both have just retarded movement.
my pc sux and it runs mlb.tv fine. If you can play youtube vids, you'll be fine with mlb.tv. Again I just prefer watching on my pc because I have a nice pc monitor, and I don't/wont have a tv to watch it on soon. MLB.tv also gives you a price cut for buying into after the ASB I think.
Most absurd reason I've ever seen shit explained for a closer getting into the all star game, Lol. Or any player. Jeter getting in because of a bajillion fangirls? That's one thing. But getting in because of some 'nasty ass pitches'.. k. You best be trollin the fuck out of us like Wilson does the Giants fans.
Scratching my head at Jeter being voted on, wtf ... Arod too, really? Ugh. I'll make sure I'm working for the ASG this year.
Eh don't throw A-rod into that, he's the best 3B in the AL in fWAR by more than a full win.
Yup, no doubt. Just saying, silly to group him in with Jeter who has 8 guys who are legit better than him
