Nice 4 game sweep for Atl over Colorado, even if they're injury depleted. Prado coming back after the ASG should be a huge boost to our terrible offense. I'm assuming McLouth will be the odd man out since he can't seem to hit anything that isn't down the middle of the plate. That'll give us 3 right handed bats in the lineup, not counting Chipper, against Phi's lefties. Prado is always clutch so everything is riding on Uggla! Hurray?

Can't believe i'm saying this but, can we get TP back as hitting coach? Or better yet, can we get Baylor back? Now that i look at it, how did Baylor and Parrish become hitting coaches with .260 career BA's? What am i saying, i would kill for some of our hitters to even make it to .260.

Career BA isn't a great way to judge/pick a hitting coach.

anyways...amazed the Rays are still hanging in there atm. I really figured this season would be a wash. If I was a betting man I'd still take Sox and Yanks edging em out of a playoff spot but still anyone's game (hell they could finish with 3rd best AL record and NOT be in lol - which is the case atm). Next few series are huge against the Yankees (twice) and the Red Sox though. Upton is gone if they slip up...and he might still be gone. Dude is so inconsistent. RBIs and HR are great this year but god does he strike out a ton and have an awful OBP. They always seem to play well against the two big dogs though, always sort of..inexplicable. Proud of em either way, decent pitching and timely hits 4tw.

There are signs all along there that say don't lean over the railing, plus Ranger's ball park railings are actually higher than OSHA standards. Just a tragic accident, they could put some netting in that gap but there's other areas where they couldn't and something like that can still happen.
