I dunno. We've done okay against both Lee and Hamels, and only beat Halladay once (When he was a Blue Jay), but this is the kind of loss that can send a team into a tailspin, and all because Fredi's like "Derp. Scott Proctor seems like a pretty cool guy."

Interesting tid bit. The Braves are 14-5 in their last 19 games. Scott Proctor is responsible for 3 of those 5 losses.

Cordero blew his fourth save of the season Friday night at Milwaukee, giving up three runs on three hits and two walks.
Spin:
Cordero was a strike away from getting Mark Kotsay and ending the game, but Kotsay lined one into right field. Don't be surprised if we see more implosions from Cordero -- his 4.00 FIP and 3.76 xFIP suggest his still-stellar 2.37 ERA is a mirage.

GFDI CORDERO STOP IT. Also yay mets, fell asleep watching again. Haven't been able to stay up at all during these westcoast games.

New York manager Joe Girardi revealed the injury before Saturday’s game against Tampa Bay and said Rodriguez was out of the lineup. An MRI exam Friday showed a slight tear in the cartilage, and left A-Rod with two options: He could try to play through it, or have surgery and miss perhaps a month.

Does anyone really think this guy has a chance of breaking Bonds' record? I sure as fuck don't. He doesn't have 5 30-HR seasons left, there's no way.
