My work just april fool's us all... this was the memo passed out first thing in the morning:

"The Law Corporation has adopted a new random drug testing policy. The first phase of the program will begin on an announced date. All attorneys, paralegals, and staff will be drug tested by June 1, 2011. Thereafter, testing will be on a random, unannounced basis. You will get 24-hours notice. The first person who will be tested is Luther W. Horton, who will be tested on May 1, 2011. We will then go down the letterhead until everyone is tested."

Luther is the boss of the firm, so it was major lol that he was the first to be tested

We have about 180 people in my building and all of them have a computer. I put a sticky note under all of their laser mouses. Sad part is, every one of them is pretty fucking stupid when it comes to PCs. Kinda dumb, but I'll get a chuckle or two when the calls start coming in.

Omg I wish I thought of this. Last night I had to come into the office after hours to swap out a UPS unit on our ASA and routers. This would have been the perfect time to do this since I was the only person here. Our help desk voice mail would have been full before I made it in.

It was pretty funny, we did a bunch of other little things like taping chairs to desks, zip tying drawers to each other.

also 5 minutes before we left work our supervisor told us the CEO was giving us monday off, a few people got really excited for a few seconds but that was quickly smashed.

My command played a good one saying all C schools and previous orders are canceled because we are all going to FMTB then straight to Libya for Libya support. Leave was secured, etc etc...people went crazy screaming RAHHHH and crying then after all the panic they screamed april fools -_-.

Nobody cares, but our public broadcaster (RTBF) inserted a fake in the news report about the UN sending us their own (Cameroonian) envoy to resolve the political crisis.

Wasn't funny and in particularly poor taste: the guy was portrayed as not understanding economical and political principles (e.g split rate land tax) and looking for a solution by meditating near a baobab. Not racist at all...

Ironic that the newsreader (who has algerian roots) that had to introduce the topic had recently produced&anchored a TV show against racism.
