    * [dev1005] More Formidable Fellows!
    o The level cap for adventuring fellows will be increased from 70 to 85.

    + Increasing your fellow’s level cap will require the completion of new limit break quests.
    + Players wishing to undertake these quests must fulfill the following conditions:

    # Must have completed the quest “Clash of the Comrades.”
    # Adventuring fellow must be level 66 or higher.
    # Must possess the Magian Trial Log key item.

    + Fellows will fight alongside you for longer periods of time.

    # Initial duration of stay will be extended from 45 to 90 minutes.
    # Initial enemy quotas will be increased from 15 to 50 foes.
    # Strengthening bonds with your fellow will provide additional bonuses to these values.

    * Duration of stay: 9 steps of 10 minutes each, up to a maximum of 180 minutes.
    * Enemy quota: 5 steps of 10 foes each, up to a maximum of 100 foes.

    *The maximum bonus will be applied to players whose fellow bonds have already been strengthened to their limits.

    + Players will be able to call forth fellows in the following areas:

    Wajaom Woodlands / Bhaflau Thickets / Mount Zhayolm / Aydeewa Subterrane / Caedarva Mire



    Looks like a nice addition, especially for skill ups. Plus more NPC quests! And now the updates notes are finally starting to flow as well.

    Eh lol, make them able to go into abyssea and they will be useful. Only ever used them as a small *tiny* extra hand during a random quest or farm run/NM. Lvl 85 should be cool, I hope they get their max MP adjusted though.

    Another addition we got from the forum postings and all: information even during weekends - S-E would never post patch previews during weekend before I think, which I found annoying when the patches were closing in

    Give me an upgrade where my npc will only cast haste and cure and stops wasting all her mp on Dia.

    Really? Cause the only times I've used my NPC have been for random NMs or magian trials in which case Dia was always helpful lol. The AI isn't the problem really, its the fact they have such a small MP pool...

    Going without haste because my NPC is casting Dia, silence, or insertdebuffhere is why she never ever gets used any more. Heck I dont even really need cure. If I'm killing '200 arcana in wind weather' (last time I used mine was before the update that lessened the requirements) all I need is haste. Having the npc run out of mp with 191 arcana to go because she wants to skill up her enfeebling is retarded. Just haste. That's all Amerita. Just haste.

    Level a whm mule it would be more efficient and reliable then relying on an ai npc.

    You know, if you change "NPC" to "random pickup WHM" the exact same complaint would hold true. Perhaps SE knew this all along, and decided to go for realism when they implemented NPC AI.

    NPC is just something you may as well use even if it doesn't help much. The only exception would be if you need to sleep mobs and the NPC is preventing that.

    If you don't need the healing, put it on Fierce Attacker and let it hit stuff until it dies. Doesn't hurt unless feeding TP is an issue.
